Hi awebaby,
DMSO is very good for sore muscles and arthritis. However, I became confused with why you would be getting a headache after two days and consulted with Dr. Goebel. Here is his response to you.
I have used DMSO quite a bit, myself. One possible problem is a
"technical grade" which has other solvent impurities. These usually
aren't a problem, but could be. Also any body part to which DMSO is
applied should be thoroughly washed and rinsed off. DMSO is an
excellent solvent for both aquaeous and lipid molecules, and so any
toxin on the skin will be taken right into the blood stream.
DMSO relieves arthritic type pain very well. It will not "cure" the
condition of plantar fascitis, though. That requires therapeutic
ultrasound and forceful massage.
Dr. Goebel
I do hope this helps awebaby.
Hugs,
Luella
Bless your heart awebaby, the description of this condition sounds horrifically painful. Before applying the DMSO do you wash your feet, as toxins will also go inside your system and do you harm.
Are you still at that job on your feet? Would it be possible for you to get another job where you can sit down, or would your employer accommodate you with a stool or chair to sit on? It seems to me you could apply for disability with the help of your doctor until you are healed.
My prayers are with you my friend.
Hugs,
Luella
Hi Kathleen,
I am not sure what Dr. Goebel meant by ultrasound. The only ultrasound that I am aware of is the one in a doctor's office, the x-ray type.
However, from your reply your chiropractor seems to be on top of it and I would continue with his advice. Bless your heart, you have had a tough time of it. Dr. Goebel is also a chiropractor. Your chiropractor should explain what he meant by an ultrasound.
I am not familiar with your condition. Therefore, I don't know if your arches can return. I do believe in prayer and meditation. Actually, I do believe in miracles. Listen to your chiropractor together with faith in God, your Higher Power, the Universe, whatever belief system you use. Spirituality plays an integral part in healing.
Hugs,
Luella
