MRSA is a very contagious and tenacious staphlococcus that has become resistant to nearly all
Antibiotics made by man. It has evolved as a result of our over-medicating ourselves and our offspring using
Antibiotics for runny noses, viral infections, and ingesting
Antibiotics in our daily food sources (meats, dairy, poultry, eggs, etc.).
MRSA is transmitted via direct contact - from person to person or surface to person. It is quite deadly and extremely painful. Whole populations have been infected with MRSA - the Haddonfield, NJ High School football team was quarrantined as they all came down with MRSA in September, 06. MRSA is typically found in areas where groups of people are housed together: hospitals, prisons, gymnasiums, dormatories, etc.
Symptoms of having contracted a MRSA are:
+excessive, sudden onset of fever
+appearance of a painful boil (some start out looking like nothing more than a zit) that has a darker/blue/black bullseye in the center
+said boil is bright red and hot to the touch
+boil doubles in size within 24 hours
If you believe that you have contracted a MRSA, see your doctor and DO NOT ALLOW the boil to be lanced! According to Infectious Disease and CDC, lancing a MRSA boil can be very, very dangerous for all parties involved. The boil will erupt on its own, once the MRSA staph cells have expired.
If you have been in contact with someone that was diagnosed with a MRSA, please, see your doctor and being the household and personal decontamination protocols, immediately. Addition of
Colloidal Silver (internally and nasal spray) would certainly be helpful - the Manuka Honey remedy will be posted, I'm sure, shortly! :)
MRSA is not being reported in the US or abroad - it is almost at epidemic proportions, and the media are failing to report cases, preventions, and deaths that are a result of MRSA.
