once again, dr d'adamo's blood type hype does nothing for me. i cant make heads or tails of his findings. i followed the diet for a while with no discernable benefit. his inclusion of canola and soy alone turns me off. avoid coconut oil???? i dont think so.
the oil list info has no bearing on what oils are good to pull with or not. even if the list were valid, it is valid for eating, not pulling. now i know that pulling and wearing is just another form of ingesting, but the business of oil pulling is one of primarily removing toxins. that job is best done by certain oils. those oils are mentioned repeatedly here and there is enough variety to cover any objection one might have to any particular oil.
of course, one must do what the mind thinks is best. if a person thinks an advantage is had using one oil over another for any reason and there is no overt reason to avoid that oil, like canola is not human food, then after that the other criteria such as organic, virgin, cold press and the like carries more weight than anything in my book.
