visiting my brother, had not been there for over 12 years.
I brought him the Lugol, niacin and Epsom Salts for a slight heartproblem, but he is not on medication.
The ES is what SouthernBelle uses daily and the other 2 I figured out myself from reading.
I just tell people in general to take 2 drops of Lugol a day, assuming it won't hurt them and it is better than not taking it. I wish everybody would read everything but if that does not work, I feel at least ok with them taking it this way.
So I asked about FLUORIDE and already for years it has been banned, the same with hormones etc in MEAT.
He told me that often these are rules of the new European Union, but he felt probably some of the countries are not as precise as Holland.
So guys enjoy your Dutch beer without the fluoride.

Not sure though, in what amounts. I think its fairly low.
Anyway, your regular tap water is filthy nonetheless. fuel from cars/industrial complexes/stuff being thrown in the water by farmaceutical companies using big ships (noordzee), hormones. The Noordzee probably leaks quite abit of crap into our water.- Re: O/T Just was in Holland for a f... mireve

Ohhhhh, that doesn't sound good! My d/h said he heard that we have the best tap water in the world compared to other countries, depending where in Holland exactly. We're in the Betuwe so I presume that there's not much tapwater pollution here or am I being naive? But I am very curious to find out exactly seeing that I drink tap water (with ACV or lemon juice). Do you know of any sites that would give more specific info? I've tried googling but never came up with anything. I am relieved though that that there's no flouride in the water.

This is a reply to # 943,007Eya, yeah i read that we had some of the best tap water around. But personally, i dont think thats good enough. I prefer to distill the water if i get the chance.
Especially the city water, is really quite dirty. Sometimes im at my parents location and at other times on my own. My spot is a fairly big city, and im not fond of the water there. It just doesnt feel right.
My parents live in a somewhat smaller town and i think the water is ok there, but i still prefer distilled.

I'm not yet convinced that distillation is the way to go as it's meant to be devoid of minerals and highly acidifying. I know that's controversial. You can find 2 sides to a story in every health issue today. I'd like to have water that is not only free from pollutants but also life giving and alkalising. We are also not in a position to invest in all kinds of expensive stuff so we can't consider a lot things and I imagine that you need to invest some money in a distiller or did you make something yourself? I have considered prill beads and still don't know what to thing about that, and am now considering making magnesium water but I want to check and see if the milk of magnesia here is the real thing as I've noticed that alka seltzer is not.

But I suppose that wont mean that the water is free from pollutants cos you still use some tapwater for it. As far as I know chloride is not a problem to get rid of but I'm concerned about other pollutants.
I went to this site last night which tells me the minerals in my drinking water, (according to your postcode).

But I wonder how available those minerals are. I would imagine not! And if not, then distillation is a step in the right direction but I wonder if there's not something better and simpler and more alkalising.

Distilled water is PH 7.00. Neutral
You need a special liquid test kit for that (if you want accurate ph reading of distilled water). It shows up acidic indeed (4.5) on 'normal' PH strips meant for saliva and/or urine. But thats faulty testing with regards to distilled water coz its devoid of minerals.
Either way, distilled is your best bet, im sure. You can get a machine out of the USA for cheap (sometimes it sells for $99 on websites).
Same waterwise model sells for €300 in the netherlands
According to doc Sutter the body always aims for distillation itself. He says minerals in water are wasteproduct. MH says the same.
I believe them, but i had the same doubts as you at first. Always 2 sides of the story on distilled.
Energetic wise even, distilled is always better then tap-water i believe.
But, yes it will cost you. About the prill-beads, i am not sure. People seem to report its good energetic wise.
With regards to reverse-osmosis water and 'energized water' by some kind of turbo-machine which sends magical beams at the water, they could very well be beneficial but the prices on them are high.- Re: O/T Just was in Holland for a f... mireve

This is a reply to # 943,681Thanks for the info! It's too much to invest for now. I wonder how effective it is to put charcoal in water cos that is known to absorb toxins. I read something like that recently but never kept the info. Just googled and found it.

I'm sure those people are right that we can't absorb the minerals from the water so it's up to your body to excrete it. Just another burden!

Just a family visit, but made it luxurious by flying Business class, wonderful, could stretch out and sleep. They even served chanpagne and lot of, probably unhealthy, food. Enjoyed it anyhow.
This is what happens when you get old, my brother told me to fly BC and I was lucky to find a special. And my son came with me to take care of his mother.
