yeah, also, the year 2012 is the year shelley yates (firethegrid.com) says the "global council" will collect money and the "indigo children" will fix the earth.  so, i guess there are a lot of folks waiting for that year.  in the meantime, she is writing books, though.

I like your thoughts on the subject. I suppose, since
I watched Apocalypto (the movie) twice over the weekend,
I appreciate the image of the elder's browbeating the
sleeping populace...wake up...wake up....even more.

I have been familiar with the prophecies for years so
have had time to ruminate past the fear of the what ifs
of it all and can see how the opportunities arise on a
daily basis to raise one's resonance. We have slept and
pulled the covers over our heads, and abdicated our
divine heritage and rights to others for so long that it
feels right. Somehow, through earth changes, shifts in
consciousness, pain, desperation, all the stronger
motivations of the psyche, we will find ourselves face
to face with a choice as a species to live or die. In
the past ten years or so, there arose speculation that
the time frame actually opened this window in 2007. It
will close or do something else significant on whatever
level we manifest in 2012. It is easy to see that globally
many choices face humans and if there is a WILL to come
together and work for life, instead of against it, there
are opportunities to rebirth into a much higher vibration
closer aligned with our divinity.

Will this happen? Will an uplift be recognized?? Can each
of us subdue the ego which has enslaved us and kept us
in quarantine from our place in a universal mind and
family?? The Mayan's considered themselves Lords of Time.
Their mindset was one of being a part of a universal
cosmology, and so when 2012 is spoken of, it may well
represent a time when the elder brothers from the other
dimensions come to awaken us. Certainly we have had more
than a few opportunities over the ages at contact.

It has been those who would subjugate and push us into
the darkness who have kept truth from the masses. In the
times just ahead, especially in these times, where in many
countries, certainly in the United States, truth is perverted,
hidden, suppressed, and those who seek it, punished, we will
face ourselves in ways which are unprecedented. Hopefully
our values can shift and we will be ready to do what it takes
to keep truth alive and to rise from the darkness into the
light and liberty of humankind.

Interestingly, 12-12-2012 numerically equals an 11. In our
collective psyche, this number feels like a drumbeat or
a homing signal. Many of us look at clocks at 11:11 or
see the number 11 pop up constantly in our daily lives.

I read this essay this morning and relative to this post
and the point I am hoping to share, is this paragraph~

"We are all creative geniuses who are divinely empowered to call forth and literally co-create this universe with itself and each other. I pray collectively that we are able to embrace
our galactic dimensionality and like chicks,
peering through a thin membrane, are able to
peck our way out of our tiny little world into
the grander reality that awaits us, if only we
WILL do it.
