I cannot use supplements, most of them give me allergic reactions due to the binders/fillers they contain.
To avoid these reactions, I prefer to treat my candida/leaky gut problem with organic foods.
Do you know foods that contain significant amounts of glutamine?
Cabbage does, but it has to be eaten raw, or juiced. The juice has a very unpleasant taste. Right now, I am trying to chew leaves, like chewing gum, not very tasty. ;-D
There must be better tasting foods to get glutamine the natural way.
Also, is it true that glutamine is destroyed by cooking? Destroyed totally, or partially?
