I can see how the misunderstanding occurred, but this is not tapeworm.
Tapes live in the lumen of the intestines (generally)
If you listen to the audio, the patient developed an abcess from a spider bite.
They packed the wound site with Iodine impregnated gauze packing.
This is removed and replaced dailey to combat infection.

I have seen these before ... just like the video. Causes cellulitis and abcess with necrotic area at the bite site. These can be dangerous. The cellutitis can ascend the limb on arm/leg and cause gangrene which requires amputation, particularly in patients that have compromised circulation.

Since we are on the subject, the images posted of the guy with "brain parasites" was inaccurate as well. I read the report on this a while back. This gentleman had a history of brain tumor with an open wound. These were maggots in an open head wound that were only discovered after he wrecked his car. The maggots were doing what maggots do; eating necrotic flesh. These were not brain worms. parasites do occur in the brain, occasionally nematodes, even flukes but usually Tapeworm larvae, which occur as cysts. This was none of those cases.
