No, I am doing a juice fast. Though right now it is 2:00 PM and all I've had so far is water. I will also allow myself potassium broth and the occasional miso soup, and also herbal tea. I want to be able to exercise, and I don't think I could do that if I was on water only. I have lost 8
pounds in 10 days. Not as much as some, and not as much as if I was on water alone - but still much faster then the half pound/week I was averaging prior. I still have about 50
pounds to lose to be back in the zone where I am most comfortable, but I am making strides. SW: 196, CW: 188. My biggest complaint is the dragon breath. It is really bad. And also the boredom. But I just keep reminding myself of the reward and plugging through. Plus, this time I am actually telling people what I am doing - and that holds me accountable. Maybe it's because I live in California, but people are surprisingly supportive.
