newspeak update: within the last year there came to me, by somewhat informal routes, the news that the use of the term "brain storm" and related derivative phrases (IE> brain storming, etc.) is no longer considered PC because, among other reasons, it is alleged to put into further bad light those kinds of situations that often include situations of peopl, such that, roughly 20-some years ago, the then newspeak update instructed that we are no longer able to refer to said situations as involving something/anything "retarded", because, among other reasons, it was thereby deemed not-PC .... due in part to all the conventions of denotations that had been fostered and creeping into the public vernacular by way of pop culture outlets, you see. Try to overlook the subsequenty requisite convoluted plights that followed soon after such rulings... for instance, one's automechanic having the additional problem of fixing one's timing system by "handicapping" and "challenging" it's dwell timing ;)

Don't hold me to this but this more recent newspeak news update seemed to follow not long after a then recent Bilderberger gathering.... but that was most likely mere "coincidence" :) The new, kinder, gentler, PC alternative to brain-storming: "thought showers"

The meth makers probably have their own ways of getting the substances they want, and if one substance is outlawed they will just find another to fill it's place. And frankly, if somebody wants to drink a bottle of Draino that's their choice, it's not my business. So should we regulate Draino? HOW FAR can this lunacy go???

We as middle class or working poor are milked for taxes in this Country, but what are we getting in return? Looks like someone else is pocketing the money and living large. Oh but that's right IF YOU'RE WEALTHY YOU GET A BIG FAT TAX BREAK WOOHOO!!! Seriously what a joke. This Country has really gone downhill fast in the last several years and I wish it was easier to expatriate to another Country (like I wish I had the money to buy my way in)

I support the DEA all the way on this. They've gone through the correct procedure, including inviting public opinion. The new rules will definitely save lives by making it harder for those with criminal intent to carry out their unlawful acts. That meth is nasty stuff, and was classified as a psychotomimetic fifty years ago, which means it causes its users to exhibit symptoms which mimic psychosis. The world has enough psychotics in it already, IMO.

The best thing anyone can hope for, IMO, is that these regulations will work, for if they don't, then the public may at some point in the future face the prospect of Iodine itself being made a "controlled substance", in which case it would become unavailable without license. Let's pray that these new rules will be effective in their intended purpose.

Up until the recent past (2001), the same kinds of activity / behavior of establishment and it's countless agencies, as is being discussed in this thread, was often observed to be carried out & executed with a least a bit... a morsel... a hint of pretend honor being paid to the notion of doing / behaving within the constructs, at least loosley, with what once went passes for the notion of legitimate law... such as that old, nostaligic hit-favorite "THE law of the land". There are countless examples of evidence to be found out there where one can inspect, decipher, interpret and come to the general conclusion that, yep, there once was a time not long ago ended whereby the establishment at least put forth considerable effort to make it look like they were going through the motions of legitimate, lawful behavior. That was then, this is now, and we ARE talking a whole new 'nother ball of present-day brave-new world wax.

This theory in large part hinges on the enormity of the spectrum of changes that have since been ushered in - Tsunami style, subsequent to the cumulative effects... fallout.... consequences, etc., of the perpetrations of that fateful day 091101. Bottom line? That fateful day .... and the easily observable reaction/response of the collective masses to it IE> not much to write home about in the way of a significant response BUT reaction, well, reactions have been through the roof and all over the map.... like a finely set table prepared for 15-course banquet. For instance, said mass and their apparent collective tolerance for accepting mostly hook, line and sinker, the formal official explanation of how/why that fateful day went down. The controllers of said mass have been, for decade upon decade, continually and constantly testing / tweaking "engineering" the mass, probing, plotting against, "surveying"... "polling"...." and testing it for it's public opinion" which said controllers then immediately take some relevant data (output) from and use as new input along with their revised designs for further & subsequent testing & engineering & shaping & molding of said mass into something they the controllers find more desirable. As it pertains to the fatefull day in question, the resultant test data served as a significant/critical, albeit mostly quiet/unspoken signal to the controllers of said masses: free for all, all lawful-bets are off, no longer a reason for us to even waste the effort of maintaining the appearances/illusions that we are going through the motions of lawful behavior... our people seem willing to fall for just about anything we tell them, so why should we even bother with our previous & historic pretenses?

My theory ends, figuratively, with recent observations voiced by many at how the recent past few years have brought increased rapidity of progress in the continual decay & assaults upon our once free world. Prior to that fateful day, the progress had for at least, conservatively the past one to three centuries, been content to be gradual....creeping... in the manner of true Fabianism.... all the better to sneek up on an unsuspecting populous. The years of such creepign have now been so thorough in surrounding said world of freedom with implements of slavery meted out by a one-world governing control, there no longer is a need to be so gradual about it anymore.... no holds are any longer barred even if a figurative Katie should try to bar the door!
