Just stick the tube in your ear, making sure to release some of the pressure as it builds up. You don't want to have too much pressure against the eardrum. I think the risk would be minimal as long as you don't allow too much pressure to build up. the enaly would be putting out somewhere between 1 and 3 litres of ozone/air mixture per minute. Usually auricular insufflations are done at between 1/32 and 1/4 lpm, so the possibility of pressure building up on the eardrum is greater in your case.
