Hi Molly,
I have used the tooth soap you specified. It is very good; wonderful in fact! I stopped using it, however, for a couple of reasons:
1) Expensive. $20 a jar that is supposed to last 3 months, but never lasted more than 1 month
2) Hard to use: The product is little shreds of soap, and you have to get them out of the jar and put them on the tooth brush. I suppose I should have just gotten some tweasers and used them regularly, but didn't, which led to the shreds getting wet inadvertently and then towards the end of the jar the product was kinda gross
They do offer a liquid version of the soap, which I liked very much too, but it was $24.95 and lasted even less than the jar, so see reason #1
By the way, those using soap for brushing, make sure it is a soap without glycerin in it. According to one report I read, glycerin sticks to the teeth and makes it very hard to get the teeth clean and so reminieralization becomes impossible. I actually read another site by a dentist showing how to make your own toothpaste, but part of the formula included glycerin, so careful! I now use Himalayan
Sea Salt and sometimes Pascalite clay for brushing, after oil pulling. It works for me.
HTH,
Mike
