There is something being marketed as
Miracle-Mineral-Supplement .
Miracle Mineral Supplement.
I have not taken it, but have seen some people on a yahoo forum who are getting good results with it. You can google and get info on it, including an interview with the founder. Since, if you search through the available info, you can make the stuff yourself and not pay them a cent (I would purchase from them out of courtesy and appreciation. there is a book and a solution ) I believe that there is probably some truth in what they are claiming about it.
The chemical is used in mouthwashes and toothpastes and has gotten rid of EColi and other organisms in animals. They sell a 30% solution, which I will probably end up getting, since the powder(if you want to make your own) is somewhat unstable and very corrosive to the skin.
You start out by using one drop of it with 5 drops of a 5%
citric acid solution, wait 5 min, mix with 1/2 cup of water. You up the dose by one drop each day until you hit 15 drops (for a 125lb person). Then you back off to a maintenance dose (6 drops) daily. On the way to the 15 drops (more, if you are heavier) many people get nausea and diarrhea for which the advice is to back down to the dose of the precdeeding day for a bit. Ultimately, you can get to the 15 drops with no side effects.
The side effects are proported to be a herx from die-off. You should not take vitamin C with it or anything containing C. The substance lasts for 2 hours in the body.
If you herx too badly, both vitamin C and/or baking soda and water are supposed to stop the reaction (or drammamine).
THe principal is supposed to be that foriegn invaders in the body have a different pH than the body, and this replaces electrons, which kill the invader. There are some strange results sometimes, and this may be attributed (I don't think anyone really knows) to nano-creatures that cannot be detected easily, but can still do damage.
