I am a happily married 41 year old man. For about the last 7
years (since after getting married) I have sufferred from
what seems like Acne on my face. Sore spots appear and they
will not go away until I pluck the hair(s) at the spot.
This gives instant relief. They can appear anywhere on my
bearded area at different times, usually in patches.
The hairs are not ingrowing.
The hairs have a white sustance around them
from the root to where they leave the skin. No treatment has
helped. In some areas the infections seem quite deep rooted
and problems occur on the same parts of my face time after
time.

This is a reply to # 8,708Are you getting like thin "white hair" Acne around your facial hair (chin, etc.)? Is this what you are trying to describe... If so, then I believe I know what you are talking about.
Also, how long have you suffered from Acne? How severe is it?
You can get rid of your acne, but it's easier said than done. You'll have to change your lifestyle (specifically, your eating habits). I could provide you with a reference to material that I believe will definitely relieve you of your acne.
Remember -- You shouldn't do anything unless YOU (or God..hehe) wants yourself to do it. So ask yourself, Do YOU want to commit to getting this done?
