Moreless what are some of your favorite foods that you grow in your garden that contain enough of the needed alkaline minerals and complexed carbohydrates?

Broccoli is my #1 Favorite !
When it is grown properly the bugs do not bother it and it is so Sweet and Tender tasting and just melts in your mouth, but if it is like most that is grown, it may not taste like this !
Then I grow Cabbage and Collard Greens and Turnips and Brussel Sprouts, Chinese celery cabbage, Rutabagas, Beets, Carrots and Onions in the winter months !
In the warmer months I may grow Sweet potatoes and some Irish potatoes and Tomatoes , Sweet corn and all kinds of Peas and Green Beans, Watermelon and Canteloupe , Honey Dew melons etc !
It is all good, when it is grown properly !
And I have Fruit trees of Peaches and Plums etc !
