Some of us have had LG for years and years. I think that the answer is going on the candida diet because it starves not only candida, but parasites
and bacteria. Dybiosis could only be caused by these three things. All three of these things take time to get rid of. The anti-fungal medicines kill all three of these things too. Like grapefruit seed extract (GSE), kills fungus, bacteria and parasites. While we are on this diet, and taking the anti-fungals, we should also be cleaning the toxic waste out (the material that this dysbiosis is living in). With a consistent Colon Cleanse
like colonix and colonics, or p/b shakes.
I've had this problem for so long and I cannot live with it, so I just sit around all day trying to find a cure. I think the cure is cleaning out EVERYTHING in the gut, and starting over fresh, repopulating the gut with friendly bacteria towards the end of getting all of the gunk out.
The reason I've always avoided this remedy is because I wanted there to be a magic pill that would take the smell (and people being allergic to me) away, but I actually think it might go away once I just get all of the junk out. Eating healthy won't get the junk out, or balance anything out. If you've "tried" the diet with no results, that's not the same as staying on the diet for a long long time, and being on colonix for as long as nasty stuff stops pouring out.
I think this is the reason MD's can't find anything wrong with us, and we are just diagnosed with IBS, when the only reason we have IBS is because we have dysbiosis. They can't see the dysbiosis even if they look, they just see that the colon is in tact, and that's not our problem.
I've been on the candida diet + anti-fungals for almost 2 months now and I can see that this will take a while but I realized that this may be the only way to become cured. Kind of a last hope.
There was a guy on the cure zone board who was semi-cured of LG when he killed his candida, and then was 100% cured after doing a couple of enemas and saw that the dead candida was just sitting inside of him waiting to be expelled. This makes me think that it is the candida that smells. So until you get alll of the dysbiosis out, it will continue to be a problem until that day.
This makes me sad because it takes so long, but it's not just being good to your body, it's about even if you are good, you have to reverse what was already bad. Like if your gut is populated with something bad, and then you start eating healthy, all the bad junk is still going to be there (I know! I'm vegan), and will continue to be there forever until you starve the bad population, kill them, clean them out, and then repopulate with good bacteria.
I think this may ring true, because my LG went away the moment I cut dairy out of my diet, which would be the intolerance that was probably feeding my candida, and I went completely vegan after that, but the smell still came randomly one time when I was on a plane during this time. To me, this means that candida was still in my body, but significantly reduced, or it was dead candida that would stink out in my time of high stress (for whatever reason). So besides that plane ride I was cured, but the plane ride proves that I was not 100% cured. This, I assume is because I never cleaned my gut out after killing the candida off.
So last year I went to college and was eating nothing but chocolate covered raisins, beer, and cup of noodles...the smell immediately came back for the first time in years! The candida obviously grew and took over because my tongue got all white (just like it used to be!). So of course I was devastated, left college and am now living with my family looking for a cure...because all I want to do is sit in a f***king classroom and go to school, and can't do that with the smell (and making everyone around me allergic, which began 4 months ago). Candida is coming out of me...that's all I can say. The length of time it takes is very discouraging. But like that one guy who was cured, he wasn't 100% cured until he saw the dead candida pour out of him.
Here's my fecal Body Odor
(LG) website where I update my "cure", post other cures, and have a message board where we theorize and empathize.
I honestly hate that there isn't a quicker approach to scrubbing my insides clean but I know that there is a cure because I WAS cured for a number of years.
