I posted it a couple of days ago. I started with Iodine 4 weeks ago. And since then I started getting some lose bowels. At first I did not pay any attention to this, thinking it might b something I ate. I would have a few normal BMs and then a couple of watery BMs.
As soon as I suspected, Iodine could be causing this, I stopped it all together. Have not had any of Lugols for past 3 days, but I still get lose bowels. This is very frustating. I also get gurgling in my stomach.
Once my diarrhea is under control, I will start with caution. Perhaps 1 drop per day. Now I know, perhaps detox in my body is coming in the form of diarrhea.
Whats going on? Any clues. Anyone else experienced this.?

MoreThis is a reply to # 848,328are you using vitamin C at a high level? It will cause diarrhea if you take more than your body wants.

A resounding YES! The first 6 weeks of orthoiodosupplementation (my new favorite word!), I spent more time on the porcelain altar than I ever had in my life!
Imo, it's the body's way of 'CLEAR CHANNELLING' one of the pathways of excretion in order to rid the toxins/halides/heavy/light metals. Our bodies have an innate wisdom. It'll work on clearing the obstructions in the eliminatory channels in order to facilitate the expulsion of the CRAP. I couldn't believe the amount of stuff coming out.
It did eventually subside.
I'm certain that a good colon/bowel cleanse & kidney cleanse would be tantamount to quicker Iodine therapy results.
After 10 weeks of orthoiodosupplementation, I'm CONVINCED that NO ONE should walk this path unless/until they've done at least a modicum of bowel/kidney detox work.

This is a reply to # 848,515Thanks. So seems like you also underwent diarrhea like me. Good to hear that I am not alone. I have done bowel cleanse by doing a Castor Oil flush.
I also do LBB capsules sold by MH once in a while. I have daily bowel movements. Although, some days I feel I did not evacuate completely.
I still have cold hands and feet. I will have to restart Iodine, once I am sure, that my liquified bowels have stopped.

This is a reply to # 848,515Good to know this, that's exactly what my body has been doing today. It's exciting but at the same time, running to the bathroom every 5 minutes is definitely not my idea of a good time!
I had a sudden sick feeling like I was gonna throw up or something then that's when the games began! It was like running a marathon to the throne all day long. But I do feel much better.
I am so grateful for everyone on here who expresses their wisdom and knowledge about this Iodine protocol!
