I just started on this whole Iodine thing a few days ago and am using skin painting until I get the Iodoral I ordered. I decided to use the inside edge of my foot because it is easy to self-paint while sitting and read the old school way was painting the bottoms of feet. Seems close enough, since it's helped my saliva dramatically.

Last night I accidentally painted above the hairline on the ankle and that area itches madly today. Where I painted and there was no hair, there is no irritation. For now I'll avoid areas with hair follicles, but I'm curious: Any clue on what's up with that? Is it just the ankle or any area that grows hair? Note that I haven't shaved my legs in weeks so the skin is not broken at all.
