I put some of my cayenne in a shaker and shake
it on lots of things, rice, soups, salads, eggs,
anything that cayenne can sit well on, I shake on
after cooking. I also use lemons and limes and make
a drink often. It is also a good ritual to replace
the nightly beer or wine I loved to indulge in.
Now I use the lemonade and also will make an herbal
tea which is really as satisfying. A well-placed beer
for me, like at this Sunday's SuperBowl is also
allowed, but for the sake of my goals and keeping
my progress going, I really have backed away from
alcohol...
