I have a cool cousin who is an MD but also into naturopathic health. When she heard I was all geeked out over CS for my sinus problems she contacted me and told me to be careful, as there are some horror stories.
I'm always skeptical of quakwatch but found this interesting:

Also, this is what she said to me:
"... Anyway, I just passed this article to him about a man who had been using it regulary for sinus stuff, and his skin turned a silvery grey- apparently it can irreversibly bind to melanocytes in the skin, as well as neurons, and therefore cause dementia- It kills off bacteria, but not good for the good cells either-- As with anything, I say use things in moderation!"
Though I will probably keep drinking tiny amounts, I'm not going to shoot any of it up my nose and around my brain any time soon.. :-0
Any comments? THANKS!
