To Dr. Hardy & Anyone Else,
Had 1st bone density test done and it wasn't good. My doctor, of course, wanted to put me on one of those lethal precription drugs immediately which, I've since found out, do not build good bone and cause all sorts of awful side effects. I was not going to take any of it. I went to my local health food store where's there's a nutrionist who recommended Ezorb. I began taking it in August '06. Apparently the calcium supplements I was taking weren't doing much for me. Anyway, my question is, since Ezorb hasn't been around for too long, there's not much data from women regarding 2nd bone tests and results. And some women who are taking Ezorb are using it in conjuntion w/their precription drugs (guess they're too frightened to quit the drugs completely cuz of what the doctor tells them) so I've not been able to gather much data. And since one cannot get a bone test done when one wants (to see if there's good change to date) due to insurance reasons, etc. I'm hoping someone may have some results they can pass my way.
Elixir Industry, manufacturer of Ezorb, has staff personnel who will call you and answers questions regarding this product. They are very informative. Also, one can go on a maintenance after 3 mos of regular doses. That's another thing I've wondered about...can I drop to maintenance or should I continue taking full doses. I'm thinking "more is better" but I may be wrong.
Thanks for taking the time to read this. Will wait to see if anyone here has any feedback.
MJ
