Georgia,
This journey has brought on all kinds of discoveries for me. Over the past year, i have tried all kinds of stuff - things I never would have thought of or never thought I would do. In the beginning, it really was like a full-time job. I was not feeling well and barely functioning and all of the protocol was eating up almost all of my days. Take heart, it gets better.
The psyllium shakes are often referred to here as P&B shakes since most here do Psyllium and
Bentonite Clay. PB&C is with Caproil (liquid Caprylic Acid). Many here do those. I am no longer in the super bloat and abdominal pain phase. Until you have been around here a little while and had time to gauge your body's reaction, it is hard to know what is working and what is not.
I knew diet was crucial because I would have an immediate reaction if I ate something wrong. I also knew that I had to take the antifungals because if I didn't things were worse. However it took me a little while to catch on to the bowel cleansing. I had taken
Oxypowder before but never had done the enemas or psyllium. I really despise the psyllium because it makes me feel bloated and I become irritable, when I do a couple of weeks of shakes, but it works. If you haven't started them, when you first do them, you should try to do it for a couple of months straight. Then you can do them 2 weeks on two weeks off or whatever suits you.
Where are you in your candida? From what symptoms do you suffer?
