sounds like nerve inflammation. your upper spinal chord is probably inflamed and impinging on nerves.
a juice fast with some cayenne and a little kelp would help you i believe. pineapple/lemon/ginger juice would do you good. pineapples are in season now, and are full of bromelain which is an enzyme that reduces inflammation.
also, get plenty of essential fatty acids, VERY important for good nerve health. i would recommend both flax oil and fish oil. or substitute udo's 3 6 9 blend for the flax oil. then take some lecithin with the oil. plenty of healthy fat is absolutely critical for nerve repair. many scientific studies show that peripheral neuropathy (nerve disorders in the arms and legs) can be reversed by supplementing with essential fatty acids.
and be sure to increase your probiotic intake during this time. sluggish bowels cause low levels of inflammation.
