The cases of non-candida albicans involved in chronic vaginitis are well documented. In your situation, there was found to be an absence of lactobacteria. This is quite significant. There is also hope for a complete cure, since this seems to be an atypical infection.
I assume you have no problems on your tongue for example.
I would think that you have contracted a mean form of yeast, probably by accidentally sitting on something ect.
I don't know what you have tried topically, but my suggestion is the following; irrigate the vagina with boric acid solution. Afterwards, place {plain}yogurt directly in the vagina {at night before bed}. Check the web for the directions and methods, or I'm sure there are plenty of women on this forum who can direct you on this.
If this fails, there are some other options which I can suggest--but they are more unconventional based on some theories I have been working on. Shroom
