Hi #49507 :)
That means a trip to the grocery store again!
Get some yummy Green Thompson seedless grapes, these grapes are rich in alpha-hydroxy fruit acids and they are excellent for removing wrinkles anywhere on your face and around your eyes.
Try to use organically grown grapes if you can. Just cut a grape in half and crush it gently against your face. Allow the pulp and juice to remain on your skin for twenty minutes, then rinse and pat gently dry. Repeat daily.
Make sure you drink enough water.
Mist your skin throughout the day with warm water. I suggest mineral water because your skin will absorb and hydrate better with this moisture.
Use good natural moisturizer will help your skin stay supple. I suggest you make your own moisturizer with these ingredients,
1/2 cup aloe vera gel
1/8 cup vegetable glycerin
Combine the ingredients, stirring well to combine, and store in a glass jar with a screw top. This formula will keep for about 4 months.
To use, apply a dab to clean, damp skin and gently massage it in.
Makes about 5/8 cup.
This is a great formula but, in rare cases, some people experience sensitivity to aloe vera. Be sure to test the formula on your forearm for 24 hours to be sure you don’t have an allergic reaction.
Why I like aloe vera internally as well as externally.
Aloe Vera contains 75 known ingredients including:
All the vitamins (except Vitamin D).
Enzymes that aid digestion and reduce inflammation.
The minerals needed for the enzymes to function.
Long-chain sugars that help to re-balance the digestive system.
Saponins, which have an anti-microbial effect against bacteria, viruses, fungi and yeast.
Twenty of the 22 amino acids (including seven out of the eight essential amino acids that can’t be produced by the body).
It’s thought that the synergistic effect of these ingredients is what gives Aloe Vera its power.
Now for a helpful diet for your skin,
Get plenty of antioxidants in your diet: increase your intake of dark leafy greens, berries, and other colorful foods.
Be sure to include essential fatty acids. Flaxseeds, avocados, nuts, and olive oil can all contribute beneficial fats to your diet.
Avoid foods that promote premature aging, oxidation, and poor health. Trans fats are a no-no, read the labels and avoid them like the plague. Your body can process natural fat, but not this artery clogging gunk!
Avoid sunburn by staying in the shade when the sun is strongest.
