I agree on the second pt of your post. But like I keep saying I'm looking for him to check out the thyroid gland, thyroxine, T4, T3. I'm not interested in him checking out the ovaries or the hormones they produce like LH and FSH. Those are different types of hormones all together. Those are estrogen and pregnancy hormones from the ovaries. I'm not there for that and they don't always go hand in hand.
Estrogen and LH/FSH might be in the proper range while my thyroid hormones are not. Remember, I'm not going in there for a pregnancy test, STD, etc,(ovaries and genitourinary) but a basic thyroid test. And anyway he could have ordered some blood tests that would have given him the answers he was looking for before he started being too invasive.
I tell you one thing, I'm with a new doctor now for the same thyroid issues and the dr is running blood work on me. This dr. has NOT asked me any of those questons the other one had.
The blood work is in the lab now and we haven't done the pap yet! Dr. says we will do the pap in a few weeks and that's only because I'm due for one and this doctor is a primary care physician.
