Hi Nick~ just a few thoughts here on the article since
my comments are supportive...ggg.
There will always be naysayers...some will still insist
the world is flat...ggg. I had an Internal Specialist
who insisted chiropractors were all quacks and that coming
from a highly educated person was so amazing since most of
us know that Chiropractics can play a major role in healing.
I would like to offer that the best testimony will be your
own experience and success. Also, people like us who have
done it, left behind tales of our experiences in the gazillion
posts in the archives, and who keep coming back for more.
Why? because it works and WE WORK~!
I noticed that article emphasized that most people return to
their old eating habits which got them where they were in the
first place. That single statement seemed to be the basis for
the justification of the rest of the article with semantics
clouding the issue like a lawyer twisting the words of a witness.
What you will find in your own experience is that body
maintenance is what you make of it. If you want your body
(vehicle) to perform well, you need to take care of it, wash
it, give it a good mix of fuels, oils, clean the filters,
and use it wisely.
When you come to
The Master Cleanse with the intention of
using it as a tool for change and for healing, its a winner.
Beyonce...ggg, she was forced to lose weight in order to get
a role so she was not happy about doing the MC, and she did
lose the weight, but the moment she broke, she did not even
do that right, she rushed out for a burger I think she told
Ellen Degeneres. So, she is not the poster girl for success
here, but lets talk to someone like David Blaine who is
obsessive in his discipline and he has a different take on the
same cleanse. The media loves to focus on the wreck instead
of the successes...ggg.
There are certainly plenty of successes to be found and we
are hoping you will consider yourself one too. Still, even in
the scope of your own experience, there will be others who
insist you are just under the influence of lemonade and cannot
possibly be feeling as great as you do. I was fortunate and
at the end of my last 30 day cleanse, which my neighbors, and
my neighbor is a head coach at a high school so he is focused
on nutrition and exercise, he had me in the crosshairs and
watched my fast like a hawk, waiting for me to fall. At the
end of 30 days, he said, I was right and he was wrong. It was
music to my ears and changed his mind about a few things.
Time does change minds and those who change the easiest, are
those looking for change. Those who do not want things to change
do not seek it, nor do they often even acknowledge the potential
exists or encourage it.
I wish you the best on your own healing journey~~learn to listen
to you and do not be afraid to try things out and see if they
are useful to you~~!
Here is my favorite Master Cleanse testimony~~!
