GARLIC
Garlic is a good antifungal, you can swallow a clove cut in halves --if you want it to ge to your bowel, and keep killing the candida there -- you can cut it in small pieces --if you want your body to aborb it and to kill the yeast all over your body or you can take allicin supplements with the same results.... without the smell (allicin: the active ingredient in garlic)
You can boil garlic and use it on your skin, in your ears.... I have used garlic for a long time to treat the vaginal yeast.
Garlic, being a natural antifungal, you need to rotate every 3 to 4 weeks. Candida becomes immune to antifungals after a while so you should switch for another one and alternate them .
YOu should take an antifungal twice a day, morning and evening. So you could take a clove cut in half, or else half a clove and the other half in pieces so as to get it working in your bowels and all over your body all at once. If you take the supplements, take accordingly to their suggestiond.
When you take a new suppl. antifungal or anything else - To avoid die-off - always start with a bit and slowly increase day after day. With garlic, do it only once the first day and see how you react, increase only when you do not feel intense die -off. When you get die-off, just devrease whatever you've just started taking.
There are quite a few natural antifungals on the market. Garlic has the disadvantage of having some antibacterian property, and thus may kill the friendly bacteria . This is not a big issue if you are at the first stage of healing candida since, bacteria (friendly and less friendly) come along with yeast. HOWEVER, taking probiotics along is kind of a waste.
THe best antifungals remain oregano oil and grapefruit seed extract.... because they will not kill the probiotics. By the end of your healing process you should take these two with plenty of probiotics.
CAYENNE
Cayenne pepper is great for the bloodstream , it helps with clothing and it is a good thing to put on your diet. I eat pretty spicy since I try to take some every day - sometimes I will just have some for breakfast, in my lemonade.
MASTER CLEANSE
MC is NOT an option with candida because of the maple syrup, however I have done a fast with the syrup-free lemonade with great results. Remember! Only fast until your energy level gets low. If it gets low, you may stop fasting or else eat a bit more (ex. liquid breakfast, i.e. raw eggs with vanilla and yogurt and liquid dinner, vegetable soup or broth). Just to make the fast last longer, we are so mineral deficient with candida that it is almost impossible to fast for a week without liquid meals. With these meals I have been fasting over a month (and expelling mp AND candida threads).
