has anybody tried natures biotics from life science? i just ordered some and from what i've read it works but i wanted some feed back from anyone on the forum that has heard of it. also is there a website that lists a specific diet to stick to. or at least has a good list of foods that can and cannot be eaten. i'm starting to feel a little overwhelmed with all the conflicting info i've been coming across. thanks for any help you can provide, skygoddess
Fish, chicken, eggs (no antiobiotic kind). No cooked veggies and organic salads every meal - made with parsley, cilantro, red cabbage, celery, lettuce, broccoli and spinach if you have it (no carrots)
Yes I tried it briefy. I could tell a positive effect right away, but I had to discontinue because it began to really irritate my gut wall. Most things do that to me though. It contains transient soil bacterias ( similar to Primal Defense ). I think it's a much better product than PD.
As for the diet, there are a lot of variations but the general rule of thumb is NO sugar, dairy, gluten/wheat free, and only small amounts of the 'good' carbs ( brown rice, etc.. ) Also watch for food allergens like eggs ( ewww those tear me up! ) or anything YOU may be specifically allergic/intolerant to. No or very little packaged/processed foods is best.
thanks for the info. about the cooked veggies, i make a lot of stir frys using only sesame oil and no sauces is this acceptable or no? also i read carrots are ok uncooked was this incorrect? thanks again, skygoddess
I am on the LS SBO's and I like them very much. They also have received the thumbs-up from my accupucturist, who is my healthcare goddess. I also take their pH balancing formula every night and I like it as well.
Anything cooked pulls enzymes from your auto-immune system, which you need for healing. I recommend powdered colostrum taken under the tongue for the auto-immune system - super stuff. I am not sure of all the reasons why carrots are on the not so good list, but they are - maybe it is a root crop thing and they are sweet. Many root crops are starchy - are carrots? - - - For the basic candida approach I like http://www.modernherbalist.com - though running up to this plan I like Liver Flushes and a souped up hummaworm parasite cleanse.
Just want to toss it out there that "no cooked veggies" is not a universally accepted criteria. Some folks do well on them. In fact, if candida is bad enough, raw veggies may not be tolerable until some healing has taken place.
