Here's some leads that helped me a lot. Like you, I tried some of those supplements but now I'm a little more commited and using stuff that seems to be working very well. IMO, it takes more than just popping pills or drinking teas to undo the damage we've done to our bodies with years of wrong eating/thinking/living, etc. It may not be a quick fix but alternative solutions are way better IMO than fatalistic surgery. I drink large amounts of Jason Winters tea and other herbals and watch my diet. No booze, coffee, smokes, sugar, white bread, etc. as suggested by the naturalists and, IMO, the most important element....improved attitude/emotions which reduces the stress we commonly take for granted but which is harmful. I work a lot on helping my very best friend: the prostate gland that is trying so very hard to get my attention so I'll get busy and fix whatever is harming it and me. I went to bookstores, libraries, web forums to learn as much as I could then just started trying stuff like Jason Winters tea and any inexpensive thing I could, including diet. I would never go off to a surgeon to have my gland ruined if I can turn things around and help it. So far it's working and I can tell that my stressed gland is getting better and very happy with what I am doing on it's behalf. I'm just sorry that I let things go so long and hope it's not too late for the gland and other things I've damaged over the years.
