Yes they will num your lip like when you get a tooth pulled and take a nice size chunk out with a razor blade but it doesnt hurt at all Only hours later and for a few days. It was crazy i didnt think it would be like that. My lip was huge afterwards for about 1 week. and it took around 3-4 weeks to heal the hole in my lip. There are two ways they stop the bleeding or patch it up. they can give u stiches or they can use this burning tool to stop the bleeding. i got the second one done. They have to get deep down in your lip so they can get a accurate test.My results said there was nothing wrong with my lips.
