Hi all,
I have done the cleanse several times before. I do truly enjoy the effects and benefits, but even moreso I love the reaction I get when I tell people about it! It never ceases to amaze me how they think I will drop over dead on the spot. This is my first time in years trying the cleanse. I now live in China with my wife who has never seen or heard of the cleanse and I can see already is HIGHLY skeptical and nervous about this. I doubt I will be able to get much support other than her reccomending I stop and go back on solid food again. It will be interesting though to see the effects the different materials and environment will make.
For example I think I will try Pu Er tea as the herbal laxative. It is not sold as a laxative, but it is well renowned for its cleansing and weight loss qualities. This of course is because it IS a strong herbal laxative. So that area is covered. I brought some of the best maple syrup I could find back with me from Canada, but it is pure #1 medium... not sure how that translates to grade.... any ideas?
I will be beginning tomorrow and trying for 14 days. I have done 10 and 20 in the past, but for me it is challenging. I am definitely a food addict and have difficulties more with the cravings than the physical side effects.
That said I want to put forth a question to the group that hopefully doesnt go outside the forum boundaries. Forums are fine and dandy places to get help and support, but sometimes waiting 1,2 3 or more hours(days) waiting for a kind word or piece of advice is difficult. Wouldnt it be nice to talk live to someone about it when you needed the help? I dont know if master cleanse chat rooms exist, but if not, would anyone be willing to use MSN Messenger to keep in touch with others going through the same thing we are? For me this will be tough anyways since I am in a different time zone than most of you will be, but I would like to try. I realize people would likely be concerned about privacy and such, but might I make a suggestion? It is too easy to make a new email address on thousands of different free providers. Perhaps if you didnt want to share your own MSN passport, you could make a new one, just for when you needed someone to talk to who doesnt think your crazy. I know my wife will, so I wouldnt mind asking for a friendly hi already. I already have an email address setup specifically for this purpose. it is on mail.com and free, but any addresss will work on MSN, it does not need to be hotmail to set up a passport. Also I have upgraded my MSN messenger, but you know what, the old one is still there too, so I can actually be logged into messenger 2X with different accounts.... Interesting. In any case, I welcome any and all here to send me an email through this system (also annonymous) to have me add you to my list on my special MSN Messenger account. I for one would love to have someone to talk live about this with, since I wont have as strong a support base at home. Does this sound interesting to anyone? I hope to hear what anyone has to say about this idea, good or bad. And I certainly hope I havent broken any
