Hey Beginings!
I workout everyday with weights\machines so I will attempt to help you out. How old are you? I am in my early 40s so now my concern is more about internal health. But still want to look good on the outside! (chuckling!!)
I would HIGHLY advise AGAINST creatine. I got great results from it a few years back(very lean, muscular, and vascular) however, I ended up passing a kidney stone last year which I blame on the high protein (protein shakes with artificial ingredients) and taking creatine. My kidneys were on overload and as a result, I passed a stone. I also suffered muscle aches (I was working out incredibly hard!) and ended up visiting a chiropractor and physical therapist to help loosen me up.
Now I eat organic, healthy and I feel great! I do eat chicken, fish, pork, (of course - organic) and many fruits and veggies. I am more concerned now about my "insides" since that definitely controls what your "outsides" look like. My problem is now that I too need some extra protein since working out daily. I did break down and buy a product from Ultimate Nutrition that is called "The Ultimate Nutrition Whey" and is 100% natural. The only ingredients are Premium Whey Protein Isolate and Lecithin. That's it! There are no artificial flavors, colors, sweeteners, or anything. I bought this a few years ago at the Vitamin Shoppe so I wanted to try it again. It is a "Natural Flavor" and is very bland but I will add some organic cocoa powder and stevia to make it taste better.
Ah right - so that is my advice to you and I hope it helps. Again, highly advise against creatine and just eat organic meats and natural whey protein. Oh yeah... and don't forget your fruits and veggies.
