I'm on day 7 of MC, and I'm feeling good. Tired, but I can see things are happening in my body. The bags and dark circles under my eyes are receding. I usually can't miss more than 1 meal without having bad withdrawal symptoms. This has been the easiest fast that I've tried.
My wife made veggie broth from raw spinach several nights, seasoned with sea salt and cayenne. That was especially good on days 3 and 4, I got a headache each night, but after I drank the broth, the headache went away. She's made mixed veggie broth for several nights, it has been good and the break from the lemonade certainly was welcome.
I've used the senna and salt water flush, the SWF seems to do the best for me. During the day I have several cups of herbal non-caffeine tea, that warms me up a bit.
I've gotten cold pretty often, but it's not too bad. I'm usually a pretty warm person. Mostly hands and feet.
I'll probably start my break on Monday, since that's the start of a prison revival we are holding in Pacific, MO (3 days). I'll have to make sure I don't eat anything solid too soon. Plus, my wife and I are going to a nice Italian restaurant on Friday for our 22nd wedding anniversary.
I have a Enaly ozone generator in the mail, so I'm looking forward to using it and in conjunction with my next MC.
Oh, by the way, I've lost 7.5 lbs, which is nice. I don't feel as heavy inside like I usually do. And my left elbow that has been hurting since early June because I was lifting too heavy of weights (going up too fast) isn't hurting now. Interesting.
Don't quit, that's the main thing. If my tummy growls, I give it more lemonade, and it's happy.
I will say that the Maple syrup (I've only been able to find 100% grade A) is much more tasty than molasses.
