I had my mother in law come to stay this week. She is willing to do three days of fasting after reading Dr. Christopher's little book. Do you think your mom would go for a simple three day fast??if you explain that her body needs a rest so it can try to repair the damage? The goal would be to take some discomfort away from the finger and give her more confidence in her body's ability to heal. Maybe even make small diet changes from there and then who knows???
I understand what you mean about being impatient and you know that md's count on us to be impatient.
It is funny that when we are sick we are called, "patients", when what we need to do is be patient. Our body demands patients to heal.
Anyway, I hope you can help her stay away from the knife. Your efforts are really special.
My grandfather was in bad shape at the hospital. My aunt was taking care of him. The doctor withheld some treatments because he thought my grandfather had medicaid. This enraged my aunt who bluntly informed the good 'ol doc that he was fully covered. This is modern medical REALITY!!!! These people, modern docs, could not care less---even more so if you are elderly!
MH said not to use cayenne unless there is blood. I hope there will be more info on the oregano for you. I would try oregano too, but MH will know better.
Let us know,
