Hi,joylovepeace,
I just got a new book by Gabriel Cousens, Rainbow Green Live-Food Cuisine in which he lists the glycemic levels of fruits and vegetables; I thought it might be of assistance to you.
High: Apricot, Melons (all), Kiwi, Mango, Papaya, Pineapple, Banana, Date, Fig, Raisins, Grapes, Most Dried Fruits, Parsnip (cooked), Rutabaga (cooked), Pumpkin & Squash (cooked), Beet (cooked), White Potato.
MODERATE: Carrots, Oranges, Peaches, Pears, Apples, Pomegranate, Plums, Some Berries, Peas, Yams, Sweet Potatoes, Parsnip (raw), Rutabaga (raw), Pumpkin & Squash (raw), Beet (raw).
LOW: Most Vegetables, Grapefruit, Lemon, Lime, Cherries, Strawberries, Cranberries, Raspberries, Gogi Berries, Blueberries.
Cranberries and Blueberries are off MH's list.
If you eat the Low fruits and veggies until you do full cleansings, etc., this may help a bit.
Kindest thoughts.
