Oh, that is so difficult! You try to help and it appears to make things worse. Did you flush with her? How were your results?
A couple thoughts. First, make sure the elimination path is moving well before the flush. The morning of the flush, I do a Salt Water Flush (to clean out the entire digestive tract). I eat lightly the day of the flush -- no fats, no grains, no animal foods, just fruits and veggies and LOTS of water. That helps keep the digestive tract clear, so the toxins as they are eliminated don't get blocked on their way out.
After drinking the 2nd
Epsom Salt mixture, I take an Epsom Salt/baking soda bath using 2 cups of
Epsom Salts and 1 cup of baking soda. Make sure to soak for at least 30 minutes, adding more warm water if it gets cold. This helps detox the skin. Make sure to have your g/f dunk her head and keep her face in the bath water as much as she can without drowning.
I get out of the bath and don't rinse the Magnesium Sulfate off my body. Letting it absorb via the skin is excellent -- the sulfate is important to liver detox and it doesn't absorb as well when one drinks the
Epsom Salts . Wrap hair in a towel, get into jammies and be ready for bed. She'll want to wash her hair in the morning, and it will be very soft!
Take the OO/GF mixture, go to bed, lie still on the right side and sleep. The warm bath & magnesium from the
Epsom Salts generally helps one sleep like a baby.
In the morning early, take another dose of Epsom Salts or do another SWF. Then hop back into the bath and soak in Epsom Salts/baking soda again till you need to start using the toilet, generally an hour or so. Don't skip the final
Epsom Salt dose -- it will help keep things moving, so no toxins linger.
If you aren't into enemas and can't afford colonics, do a
SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) again each morning for several days washing any lingering residues from the liver flush. The easiest way is to set the alarm clock an hour early, drink the
SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) and go back to bed. In an hour, you'll get up, using the toilet several times as you get ready for the day.
I use the
Epsom Salt and baking soda baths whenever my skin starts looking less than glowing. Tired, pasty, shadows under my eyes, I head to the bath. In the morning, I look and feel much better. When I'm stressed, I do it several times per week. Can't do
Liver Flushes that often, but one can keep detoxing the skin.
