I have three kids myself!
2 boys one is 9 the other is 4 1/2 and one girl shes just turned 3.
I no EXACTLY what you mean! lol.. i will be making macaroni and cheese or something that i usually would at least taste test.. and not even think about it and plop it into my mouth! and then i had to hurry and go spit it out before my digestive juices started! (when i was Water Fasting
or juice fasting exclusively) lol..
i just had to laugh at myself but old habits are hard to break. Not to mention when i cook i always taste test cause i never make a recipe the same way twice (unless requested lol) so i like to experiment and taste test. not to mention im sure all of you with kids knows how after dinner when your cleaning the table off you tend to "taste test" the kids leftovers of what they didnt eat... that DEFINATELY was a hard thing to unlearn and eventually i did.. now its just the sampling when cooking.
its funny how we have this habit without even realizing.... untill you step back and not make eating your whole day.. and your like "WOW" i totally depend on eating to get me thru whether it be social functions or something simple as watching a movie or celebrating or when depressed... we focus most of our attention on it. This goes for people who are not even overweight...
its nice though that we can take a break and be free of food. Of course survival is important.. but is it really necessary to eat as much as most of us do on a daily weekly basis? Even now that i incorporate healthier choices right now untill i restarat my juice fast tommorow.... i think was i really hungry? lol
Anyways sorry for rambling and sorry for mispells i didnt feel like going back lol....
p.s. hang in their.... i know that macaroni and hotdog slices can call your name lol
