well to tell you the truth about 2 years ago....was when I did my first fast, but I never attempted more then 5 day fasts until this year. I lost 40 lbs in 8 weeks....I fasted for 5 days strictly water and exercised ALOT. I lost 14 lbs in those 5 days...and after that I ate no more then 600 calories per day ( mostly of insoluble fiberous foods) I figured if it was insoluble it will goe right through you.
So for that second week once I started eating the scale said I gained 2 lbs but after that first week I lost those 2 lbs......from that point on
fasted lost 14 lbs week 1
7 lbs week 2
5 lbs week 3
5 lbs week 4
3 lbs week 5
3 lbs week 6
3lbs week 7
2 lbs week 8
I only drank water, didn't eat past 5 and made sure to burn 600 calories per day.
Hoep that helps. I felt great after the first 2 weeks....I just think if you have 2 months go for it! I don't right now....
