i lost a front tooth due to an accident and it is replaced with a removable plastic tooth. it has no metal in it. i have to take it out at night which is something to consider. i am shy to sleep without it in front of anyone. another thing to consider is if it is good to have part of your hard palate covered in plastic most of the day. however, i have had my plastic tooth for about twelve years now with no problems. at first it takes some getting used to.

when i get a little bit of money i am going to investigate the fixed tooth as i am married now and i just cant get used to taking that thing out at night in front of my husband, which may be silly but there it is.
