Last year, I fasted for seven days.
Starting yesterday, my hunger pains diminished considerably. I was ravenous for the first four days.
I'm not sure I broke it appropriately the first time, although I started slow, with young coconut juice. It was heavenly! After that, I probably started eating raw nuts too soon, but fortunately, I didn't have any problems.
On Christmas day, I plan to have melon in the morning, and then...attempt some lettuce for Christmas lunch.
Next May, I plan to fast for 21+ days, to resolve other deeper issues.
I'm positive your weight loss will even out to a pound a day or more. By the way, why are you fasting through the holidays? :)
