I understand that exercising and sweating excretes toxins out of your skin glands. But what about lifting weights/bodybuilding? Does it affect the hormones for males and create acne?
I don't know the answer to your question, but I would also be interested in knowing if there is any connection. I'm 18 now, and I've been lifting weights since I was in 8th grade, and it was about that time that I started getting acne. Coincidence...perhaps, but nonetheless rather perplexing.
yes it does.. it raises testosterone levels...creating Acne (in some people) I am guesing that those people have an impared liver function and cannot break it down as well.... so Liver Flushing would help with both the Acne and liver function.
That sucks to hear. I have cystic Acne and I'm doing a good job controlling it by doing colon flushes, supplementing with zinc and saw palmetto. The saw palmetto controls my harmones and decreases my oil production drastically. Is this enough to control the testosterone increase?
Not necessarily. It may cause flushing but the sweating can be beneficial. Its important to shower up after exercise, because bacterial growth on the skin can be encouraged by having extra dried sweat and oils on the skin.
