Absolutely not! It is proves way back that plasma cholesterol levels do not depend on how much choleterol you consume and that amount of cholesterol you eat has nothing to do how much is in your blood, except if you eat a lot of badly oxidized cholesterol. How come? Liver does all the job: it has a special enzyme, HMG-COA, which is involved in cholestrol refining process. If liver senses too much cholesterol is coming it shuts down production of the enzyme if it's too little- increases. So that's why I don't count how many egg yolks did I consume (in OJ)? 4, 6 or 12, or 18? Infinite wisdom of the body.
Majority of cholestrol liver makes itself no matter how much you eat of this wanderful substance (technically it is not fat). The rest comes from the dietary sources. And the cholesterol that liver makes is made from sugar! That's a clue. Minute amounts of cholesterol are also made in other parts of the body, like intestines, brains (you are talking about 50-50% neuron split in these both areas). Cholesterol levels depend practically how clogged your liver/gallbladder is. That's it. Not how many
oz of raw cheese you had or how much butter you put in that tasty cream of broccoli soup.
Ha, and talk about coconut oil! So many benefits that it's too many to mention here. Look at what Mercloa says:

All that hoopla about dangers of saturated fat is also absolutely nonsence that was promoted in order to push then growing (and subsidized, as is now) polyunsaturated oil industry. They said they found saturated fat around the heart. O really?- it was remade by the body from plyunsaturated fats cause it was so difficult to metabolize them efficiently, that's why! And in good faith body made the best decision to store them as saturated fat. Why saturated? because it is preffered source of fuel for your heart! Yes, your heart runs not on sugar, but on saturated fats mainly; and that's another reason you may find small amounts of saturated fat around your heart. Along with your heart, your intestines and your liver runs on fat.
Oh, enjoy your coconut! rejoice and be glad!!!
