Colonics actually do not cause bleeding, so your assumption that there may be an irriation(inflammation) of some sort, is likely. The presence of mucus indicates that the body tries to discharge something that doesn't belong there. Some people have released intestinal tumors after the liver flushes, along with blood vessels and everything. This usually is accompanied with bleeding. I recommend that you monitor this for another day, but if it persists you may want to have it checked out. Sometimes, polyps or haemorrhoids can be the cause of bleeding.
