I have a monthly migraine sufferer for many years. (over 40 female). All of the classic symptoms..nausea and vomiting, can not even turn my head, any type of light bothers me, feels like a dagger is stuck into my temple etc..you all know how it is!

I used to take Imitrex and now take Relpax.

Even when I take Relpax even at the very first sign, I am in so much pain and can not really function for at least 2 or more hours...sometimes 1/2 a day!

Then of course when that part is over... you are so tired & worn out, still somewhat headachy and you feel like you've been run over by a mac truck for the rest of the day.

I have heard about injections. Is that more effective in taking away these symptoms so I can get on with my day?
