I'm not an expert, but have done this 12 years ago and am presently on the fast again, having read up on it. Just some ideas here: How much are you drinking and are you using two tbs of maple syrup when you could be using one? I use one (it is plenty sweet for me.) Are you getting physical exercise? I think that is important too. Are you eliminating well? Don't give up, it may be just around the corner. There are definite fantastic health benefits to this, so don't quit now. It's not all about losing weight anyway. Keep a positive outlook.
