Yes, Primal Defense is supposed to be able to remove plaque. Apparently the HSOs in the supplement bury in behind the plaque thereby dislodging it as they multiply. I have just started using it so can't confirm those claims. However, I have had many talks with the lady who is the sole distributor of the product here in the UK and she says it certainly cleaned her out! It is definitely one of the best probiotics on the market. Indeed, Garden of Life products in general tend to be pretty darn good. I always use OmegaZyme as my enzyme supplement.

This is a reply to # 584,509I bought the Primal Defense weeks ago but cant get my diet under control (ice cream, biscuits and coffee). I am scared to take it in my state of health I will really get bad die-off I think.

Jenn, how are you getting it? Did you find a site that's cheap enough to offset the costs of shipping from the US? Have you done that before with any sort of health products? I ask b/c we've gotten a pretty shocking surprise before when having stuff come through customs and so I'm not sure how to do it without paying a huge amount.
Simon, can you tell me about the distributor in the UK? Is this the cheapest source here? I think I found it on a random site but it was awfully expensive...

This is a reply to # 584,547Erica, I also had a shock once when I ordered something, I had to pay about £25 when it was delivered,I think it dependes on how much the item is worth,since then I have ordered quite a few things(supplements) that I didn't have to pay customs on(I hope primal defence is one of them)but i will let you know when it is delivered,the cheapest i have found is at www.webvitamins.com it cost $31.49 plus $8.99 postage,this is about £24,the cheapest i have found in U.K is £39.99,if anyone knows better please let us know.Erica how much did the item cost you had to pay customs on, mine was about £60.Jenn

All Garden of Life products can be bought directly from the UK's main distrubtor Christina Barton. www.chrisbar.co.uk She sells Primal Defense for about £28 per bottle, which is considerably less than other UK suppliers sell it for. Hope this helps.

Jenn, it was a while ago so I don't remember about the actual value of the stuff that was shipped- I just know it was a lot more valuable after they tagged on the customs fees! Hope your experience with the stateside order goes well! Tough to get all this stuff, huh?

Do you need to order it from the internet or do you know a place in the UK where you can buy it? Hope to hear from you!
