Hi. Are you still looking for an answer to your questions, or have you found out what you need to know from reading? Well, just in case you still need to know, yes, I think it's ok to only take one or the other of the psyllium or the bentonite, but they really work so much better together.
Actually, I only know for sure that it is ok to take the psyllium alone, as I've done that for years. I've never taken just the Bentonite
alone. I don't know how it would do in the body without some fiber to push it along. Maybe someone else will answer on that part.
Yes, you do need to drink lots of water if you're taking psyllium, because it swells up a lot. Notice how it swells and thickens just while sitting in a glass with water?
The order of the tea, water, p&b aren't too important, but this is how I did it personally:
I alternated between the tea and the salt water. One evening I'd take the tea, and not bother with the salt water in the morning. Then that evening, I'd skip the tea, and do the salt water the next morning. You do whatever works for your schedule. For example, if you don't want to be in the bathroom for an hour or two in the morning due to work or whatever, time it so you do your salt water flush in the evening.
Then for the P&B shakes, I'd take them either in the morning or before bed, sometimes both morning and night if I remembered.
As for the liver cleanse, I never did that myself so I hope someone else will answer here. Too often messages get buried on this board so if you don't get help, please post again!
