gettinbetter
Thanks trapper. I did come back to see if there were any posts following mine. Been getting emails about my home made glyco powder, so it wasn't a complete waste of time to come here. The whole point was to connect with like-minded persons, and though it isn't in the forum it's happening anyway. I'm wondering, why is it that the M****tech people think the home made powder is inferior? I happen to like it better. Using ingredients like fenugreek and shitake mushrooms, it has much more in the way of micronutrients than the sterile and commercially molested powder sold in little tiny and very expensive jars. As with any food, the less it is tampered with the more vital it is. I think those who are so gung ho about the M****tech product forget that glyconutrients are in food and can be gotten that way as well. There really isn't a need for a special powder unless it's to make it easier to get certain food ingredients without having to eat the same foods day after day. In that case, looking up what foods contain which ingredients and then powdering them and combining them is essentially just an easy way of being sure you get those particular ingredients everyday. They don't have to be processed! To get mannose, eat some FRESH aloe vera, or even grade b maple syrup. Galactose, glucose and mannose...eat an apple. I can't remember off the top of my head what every food containing every glyconutrient is because the list is extensive, but you get the idea. This isn't rocket science, it's nutrition. But anyway, thanks for the support trapper...the true intent of this forum.
