From the site you posted, i took the time to paste it here so we could see it [HINT!!]
"...manufacturing jobs started their decline three years before Bush took office.
Kerry would "end job-killing tax loopholes." But "offshoring" accounts for just a small fraction of jobs that are lost, and even Democratic economists say changing the tax code won't end the overseas job drain anyway."
So there it is, no I cannot deny it. If you want to get into the meat of the matter, are you saying the Bush has been good for the conomy, that Americans are better off now that before he took office?
Or are you saying that its not Bush's fault that we are worse off??
Either way, he didn't get the job done..
I would ask you to deny the problems with creating a $500 Billion defict and upping the national debt to -how much now? $100 TRILLION>??? Lets get that fact - race you to it?
In any case, its huge, and someone will have to pay for it.Your children will start to pay for it...
Imagine if a portion of that money had been put to good uses:
There would/could be no homelessness amoungst those with serious health problems - isn't that fair?
There would be schooling at our best levels for all kids.
There would be less pollution adding to our health problems, athsma rates are exploding due to smog in the past 10 years.
Off topic, I just want to say that the conservative ways are not good for the world as a whole either. This Bush administration is focused on the global situation, so I want to say a few things about global concerns and America :
There would be foriegn aid that saves lives instead of taking them, water for Africans is such a simple matter for eg. And just to allow generic drugs and alternative AIDS cures would do global situation lots more good thatn what America is doing now.
If we are trying to be the world policemen, then this massacre in Sudam should be our first priority.
The global focus of the Bush Admin is due to 9-11 partly, but the CFR[foriegn relations] was always into changing the world for America's benefit.
Only 2500 Americans were killed on 9-11, and 10 times that number have been shot to death in America since then - so 9-11 wasn't such a huge deal, it was merely impressive.
Another 100 U.S. soldiers are now dead, and the kill rate for Iraqis CIVILIANS and thier quasi-militia is about 100 to one.
Bush is not helping.
