Also, check w/your local healthfood store. They may have a distributior and buy for you w/a discount? Ask them!
You will save allot of money going non-toxic on cleaning supplies etc.
Oven Cleaner; burned pots n pans, stove liners, caserole dishes etc: mix equal parts of Cream of Tartar and distilled vinegar. Put paste on the black spots in the oven, BBQ grill or burned pot. Let sit. Remove w/sponge and water. If still black scrub lightly w/stainless steel. If still there, repeat the paste etc.
I buy the Cream of Tartar at my awesome health food store in the bulk section. It's about $8-9.00/lb and so worth it! Now I can clean the oven as I go w/no toxins, no gloves etc.
Borax: 20 Mule Team Borateem add to laundry; soak dishes (when need extra boost or things are kinda old and grey looking)
General dissenfectant:
My favorite all time anything is LOTS of distilled white vinegar and hydrogen peroxide.
Learned this from Mercola. Get 2 spray bottles (label or different shapes/colors etc)
Put vinegar in one, peroxide in the other. Put one of each in the kitchen and the bath rooms. Spray one, then the other on counters, floor, refrig etc. The combination will sterilize anything without the use of bleach etc.
No gloves, no toxins and it's CHEAP!!!! Use straight vinegar to clean windows.
My other favorite non-toxic all purpose item is Baking Soda. I buy in large bags at the Cosco/Sam's type store. Soaks up grease, is an antacid, a deoderant, bleaches whites, oder remover, great for brushing your teeth; wash your hair in it once a week to remove residue Etc. Etc.
I use Dr. Bronners for bath, shower and liquid handsoap.
Seventh Generation paper products and laundry soap.
Aubrey Organics for shampoo, deoderant, body lotion et
Cheers!
